Deputy U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is assigned to investigate the first murder on Antarctica, which occurs just three days before the winter shutdown of the research station. With the help of U.N. Security Agent Robert Pryce (Gabriel Macht) and pilot Delfy (Columbus Short), Carrie races against time to find the killer before the winter storm arrives, and the killer finds her. As the investigation unfolds, Carrie uncovers a bizarre mystery and secrets long-buried under the endless ice. With the help of Dr. John Fury (Tom Skerritt), biologist Russell Haden (Alex O'Loughlin), and station manager Sam Murphy (Shawn Doyle), Carrie must solve the case before it's too late.
