What is Tomorrow, When the War Began about? 
In the midst of an idyllic camping trip in the Australian countryside, eight teenage friends find their peaceful retreat disrupted by the sudden and ominous appearance of military aircraft flying overhead. As they return home, they discover their town has been taken over by a foreign military force, and their families and friends have been taken prisoner. With no training or experience, the group must band together to survive and fight back against the invaders. They soon learn that their town is just one of many being held captive by an Asian coalition seeking to exploit Australia's natural resources. Armed with determination and resourcefulness, the teens embark on a dangerous and unpredictable journey to reclaim their homes, their loved ones—and their future.
