What is Therapy for a Vampire about? Toggle content

Therapy for a Vampire is a horror comedy film set in 1930s Vienna, where a vampire count, Geza von Kösznöm, seeks therapy from the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. Bored with his immortal life and tired of his centuries-long marriage to Countess Elsa, Geza hopes to find a solution to his existential crisis. However, things take a turn when he falls for Lucy, a human woman who is immune to his vampiric charms. As Geza struggles to win Lucy's heart, his wife Elsa becomes jealous and a comedic battle ensues. With the help of Freud and his assistant Viktor, Geza must confront his own desires and the consequences of immortality. But as it turns out, being a vampire isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when love gets in the way.
