"Two Horses of Genghis Khan" is a documentary that follows the journey of renowned Mongolian singer Urna Chahar Tugchi as she embarks on a road trip across the steppes of Mongolia to fulfill a promise made to her grandmother. With a broken horse head violin as her guide, Urna sets out to find the missing verses of an ancient song believed to be lost during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Along the way, she discovers the rich history and cultural significance of the morin khurr, a traditional Mongolian instrument, and the epic tale of two white horses that once belonged to Genghis Khan.
