"The Conductor" tells the story of a young woman named Willy Wolters who dreams of becoming a conductor, but faces opposition from everyone around her because of her gender. Despite the odds, she persistently pursues her passion and eventually becomes Antonia Brico, the first woman to successfully conduct a large orchestra. Set in the 1920s and 1930s, the film follows Willy's journey as she navigates through personal and professional challenges, including a complicated romantic relationship, to achieve her dream. Will she be able to overcome the obstacles and make history in the male-dominated world of classical music?
