In the world of Pokémon, every 1000 years, a legendary Pokémon named Jirachi has the power to grant wishes to those who see it. When Ash, Pikachu, and their friends visit a festival to celebrate the coming of the Millennium Comet, they encounter a mysterious magician named Butler who is determined to use Jirachi's powers to revive an ancient Pokémon known as Groudon.
