In a post-apocalyptic world, a small group of survivors, led by a man named Morgan, embark on a dangerous mission to find the origin of a virus that has turned most of humanity into violent, zombie-like creatures. Morgan has the unique ability to communicate with the infected, which he uses to interrogate them in the hope of finding the original patient, who is believed to hold the key to a cure. As they navigate through the dangerous world, they encounter a number of obstacles and challenges, including hostile military forces and evolved infected humans. Along the way, Morgan's wife, Janet, who is also infected but being treated with an experimental cure derived from Morgan's blood, becomes increasingly important to the mission. The team's ultimate goal is to find a way to stop the virus and restore humanity before it's too late.
