What is Miles Ahead about? 
Miles Ahead tells the story of Miles Davis, a jazz legend who vanished from the public eye for five years in the late 1970s. Living in isolation, he struggles with chronic pain, drug addiction, and memories of his troubled past. When a music reporter forcing his way into Davis' home, the two embark on a wild adventure to recover a stolen tape of the musician's latest compositions. Fueled by memories of his failed marriage to the beautiful dancer Frances Taylor, Davis' behavior is as mercurial as his music. As he rediscovers his passion for music, he finds redemption and a chance to reclaim his place as a jazz legend.
