In the picturesque landscape of Montana, a struggling dude ranch owned by a charming young woman and her father, receives an unexpected visit from a faded movie star known for his tough-guy western roles. The actor, Avery Ford, played by Luke Perry, is forced by his agent to spend a weekend at the ranch to promote the business and revive his career. However, Heather Twain (Emmanuelle Vaugier), the daughter of the ranch's owners, soon discovers that Avery is a fraud - a city slicker who's afraid of horses and has never been west of the Hudson River. Despite this, she can't help but feel drawn to him. As they spend more time together, they both learn to confront their fears and find love in the most unexpected way.
