Struggling Western novelist Eugene is facing a tough predicament: his iconic character Jesus Kid's sales are plummeting, and his publisher is threatening to take the character away and give it to another writer. Just when all hope seems lost, Eugene is offered a lifeline - an opportunity to write a screenplay for a movie. The catch? He must do so while staying in a luxurious hotel for three months with no chance of leaving. Will Eugene be able to find inspiration within the confines of his plush prison, or will the isolation drive him mad?
