Inside

Inside tells the story of Nemo, a high-end art thief who gets trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist goes awry. Locked inside with nothing but priceless works of art, Nemo must use all his cunning and ingenuity to survive. As weeks turn into months, Nemo's sanity and health begin to deteriorate, but he never gives up hope of escape. Through his trials and tribulations, Nemo discovers a hidden passage that leads him to a room containing the Schiele self-portrait and other valuable artwork. Eventually, Nemo sets off a smoke alarm in an attempt to get help, flooding the penthouse in the process, but managing to escape through a skylight. The film ends with a still view of the scaffolding and open skylight, leaving the audience to ponder Nemo's fate.
