Concert for George

Concert for George is a 2003 documentary film directed by David Leland and produced by Ray Cooper. The film features a concert held in memory of George Harrison, the late Beatle, at London's Royal Albert Hall on November 29, 2002. The concert was organized by Harrison's widow, Olivia, and his friend, Eric Clapton. The film features performances by Clapton, Jools Holland, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Monty Python, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Ravi and Anoushka Shankar, Ringo Starr, and Dhani Harrison, among others. The concert was a tribute to Harrison's life and music, and it included performances of some of his most famous songs, as well as music he loved. The film was shot using discreet cameras from over twelve locations and was released on November 17, 2003. It received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike, and it won a Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video.
