What is Charlie Bartlett about?
Charlie Bartlett is a charismatic teenager who, after being expelled from several private schools, enrolls in a public high school run by an alcoholic principal. Unable to fit in, Charlie decides to become the school's resident therapist, offering advice and drugs in the boys' bathroom. His popularity soars, and he even wins the heart of the principal's daughter. However, things take a dangerous turn when a depressed student attempts suicide using drugs provided by Charlie.
