In the year 2688, humanity lives in a utopian society, thanks to the music and philosophy of Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Rufus, a time-traveler from the future, goes back to San Dimas High School in 1989 to help Bill and Ted pass their history class and prevent Ted's dad from sending him to military school.
