The Thaw

In the remote Arctic wilderness, a group of scientists and students uncover a long-buried secret that threatens to unleash a deadly pandemic on the world. Led by the charismatic Dr. David Kruipen (Val Kilmer), the team discovers that a melting polar ice cap has released a prehistoric parasite that has been dormant for centuries. As the parasite begins to infect members of the team, they must race against time to find a cure before it's too late.
