Fidelio, Alice's Odyssey

Alice, a talented engineer, joins the all-male crew of the freighter Fidelio, leaving her fiancé Felix behind. On board, she rediscovers Gaël, her first love, who now captains the ship. As Alice navigates her way through shipboard life and her feelings for Gaël resurface, she finds comfort in the diary of a former mechanic, whose notes echo her own experiences and longings. Through the diary's tales of technical problems, sexual conquests and lovelorn emotions Alice reflects on her own journey navigating between her desire for adventure; her need for love and her dream for a family. Will Alice maintain her course or will she yield to the ocean's call?
