A Short Film About Killing

A young man, Jacek, wanders the streets of Warsaw with a sinister demeanor while a taxi driver, Waldemar, goes about his day. Their paths cross when Jacek hails Waldemar's taxi but instead of taking him to his desired destination, Jacek strangles and kills Waldemar. Jacek is later captured and sentenced to death by hanging. Piotr, an idealistic lawyer who has just passed his bar exam takes on Jacek's case, but despite his efforts, Jacek's fate is sealed. The film ends with Jacek revealing his motives behind the murder and requesting to be buried next to his sister.
