In a dystopian future where mind-control technology has taken over society, a multiplayer online game called "Slayers" allows players to control human prisoners in mass-scale. The game's creator, Ken Castle, has become the richest man in the world. The game's champion, John "Kable" Tillman, is controlled by a 17-year-old gamer named Simon.
