What is Plane about? 
In the movie Plane, pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) faces a dangerous situation when he is forced to make an emergency landing on a war-torn island after his plane is struck by lightning. However, surviving the landing is just the beginning of his troubles. The passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, and Torrance must work with Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), a man accused of murder who was being transported by the FBI, to rescue them. Along the way, Torrance will learn that there's more to Gaspare than meets the eye.
